There are many programs available that will record video, but we have found Windows Movie Maker to be the easiest to use. The recording process is straightforward and movies are saved in the .wmv file format, which are viewable in Windows Media Player. Since Windows Movie Maker and Windows Media Player are built-in components of Windows operating system, it makes sense to make use of these if possible.
